stories from the pulpit

Well, actually we don't have a pulpit, but this past Sunday I had a great time speaking about our value for multicultural church with pastor Kevin. It was a genuinely warm time, but you may have noticed as we served communion to one another I kind of gagged mine down, laughing a bit.  Here's the inside scoop: I tore a decent size piece off, one large enough for my claws to grasp, bit into the soft bread and pulled a cap off a tooth!  It was singular effort of willpower to keep from spitting the whole thing out.  Not pretty, but true.  We have no official theology for bodily expulsion of the elements in our denomination that I know of.
