Do not reach into a garbage disposal to retrieve things until it has come to a complete stop. It turns out you can bruise your fingers pretty easily. I learned the hard way today..

And who says theology ain't practical?
I thought it had stopped spinning, but it had a few more turns in it. The weighted impeller just bruised the tip of my ring finger and jammed it, no big deal. I may or may not have left a puddle where I was standing though..
